Project case study – SEO Campaign

CASE STUDY: Search Engine Marketing, WordPress site control, digital marketing solutions.

A leading aviation industry firm, and division of Berkshire Hathaway,  hired Local Galaxy for website managment, SEO and content marketing solutions in April of 2019.

For this project, Tom Peditto, as project lead, developed a plan to immediately address the company’s SEO concerns through steps that included, for example, updating meta data throughout the site.  The graphic below provides an overview of our SEO process.

Next, by utilizing on-page SEO methods that included an intra-site and outbound linking campaign, and updated hierarchy of content we saw immediate results.

The increased search traffic is proof that key phrase performance improved significantly over this time which means increased exposure to the brand and overall increased awareness.  This will translate into an untold increase in revenues into the future.

The project begain in April of 2019, so we now are able to measure the success of the campaign.  Here are the key achievements so far:

  • 162.5% increase year over year in search traffic (Dec. 2018 – Dec. 2019)
  • 113.5% increase in non-branded keyword monthly clicks via Google Search Console
  • 300% growth in CTR click thru rate non branded keyword phrases
