I designed my first website in 1998. The page was made to celebrate the birth of my niece. It had an animated gif on it and some h1 and p tags.
My niece is now in college, and since then I have participated in hundreds of projects and built many more websites. As we move further into the new year, I'm proud to have been able to work on several household brands over the years. With some exciting news pending, I look forward to what 2017 will bring. Since that first site we have been fortunate to have supplied our services to leading brands within the publishing, entertainment and other Fortune 500 companies.
We have been busy plugging away on a breakthrough project from the Los Angeles office on the Wordpress platform.
The application will be used within the music industry for a leading global company to promote their roster of worldwide artists.
The project will include the use of advanced custom fields, and a custom theme in a multiple template system. The site will be a prototype for similar initiatives moving forward.
We hope to have further announcements about street date very soon.
Local Galaxy is now expanding its New York base to sunny California in the Los Angeles area. Contact us for more information.
I consider owning a web development company very similar to a traditional advertising agency.
As a developer, you work with a number of clients and these clients stay within your roster as a complex group of moving parts.
Businesses change, expand, fold and disappear. So as these changes take place it makes logical sense that your roster will change rapidly particularly if you have dozens of clients, much like Local Galaxy.
