One of the larger projects of the year has been the branding and development of the Funnel.
The website launched last week at http://thefunnel.nyc.
The site is a New York City-based magazine with a focus on Entertainment, the Arts, Lifestyle and Nightlife.
Local Galaxy principal, Tom Peditto has teamed up with Theatermania President, Darren Sussman and digital marketing guru Robert Levy.
By September 2015 announcements will be made regarding the editing team, some of whom will include rock critics and arts editors with years of experience covering New York City over the past few decades.
For the past several weeks I have been focusing on migrating a number of Joomla! websites from Joomla 2.5 to Joomla! 3.0.
Some sites seem to be much more receptive to the move than others. In particular, a site built on the WS-Minded theme, seems to have completed right on time without a visible difference in the front end of the site.
I have used the SP Transfer tool from Cyend to move select data and extensions and then piece by piece added on the Joomla components. I have found that by far and large, the most recent versions components work fine in Joomla 3.
When a few functions appeared to be missing, many times these issues are resolved by manually moving folders, discovering them in the J! admin panel and then installing the folder.
We have installed a new support ticketing system to help track all of your requests!
Just simply follow the steps to register, login, navigate to the "request support" page and enter your request details.
This will help us to easier manage and track all support requests as they come in and as they are resolved.
We hope you find this a helpful new way to improve our interaction.
I designed my first website in 1998. The page was made to celebrate the birth of my niece. It had an animated gif on it and some h1 and p tags.
My niece is now in high school, and since then I have participated in hundreds of projects and built many more websites. As we move into the new year, I'm proud to have been able to work on several household brands over the years. With some exciting news pending, I look forward to what 2015 will bring. Since that first site we have been fortunate to have supplied our services to leading brands within the publishing, entertainment and other Fortune 500 companies.
We have been busy plugging away on a breakthrough project on the Wordpress platform.
The application will be used within the music industry for a leading global company to promote their roster of worldwide artists.
The project will include the use of advanced custom fields, and a custom theme in a multiple template system. The site will be a prototype for similar initiatives moving forward.
We hope to have further announcements about street date very soon.
